📝 WAcademy Agreement
This agreement is made between the Participant and Starflix Dublin Limited, trading as WAcademy,
for the purpose of the free website development project.

This agreement is concluded between the following parties:

1. Scope of the Free Web Design and Development Service

1.1. The free service offered by the Contractor is an educational program designed to provide students with theoretical knowledge, practical training, and real-world experience in web design. This project allows students to gain experience by working with real clients.

1.2. The Participant becomes eligible for the free website design and development service only after purchasing a hosting plan through the Contractor.

1.3. The Contractor guarantees the quality of the student’s work and assumes all legal obligations under this Agreement. The free website development service includes the following:

  • Installing and configuring WordPress;
  • Creating an elegant and responsive website that meets the latest global trends;
  • Creation of up to 12 subpages;
  • Creating a unique home page;
  • Creating a unique subpage template;
  • Creating a unique contact subpage;
  • Creating a unique gallery subpage;
  • Placing information on subpages (up to 12 A4 pages of text written in font size 12 and/or up to 12 multimedia files (e.g. photos in .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif format));
  • Logo placement;
  • Adding a Favicon icon;
  • Selecting the text font;
  • Website responsiveness;
  • Added Google maps;
  • Adding links to social media pages (maximum 5);
  • Adding a contact form (up to 10 text fields, e.g. name, company name, phone number, e-mail address, subject, message content, etc.);
  • Assistance in creation of e-mail accounts on client domain;
  • Hosting an approved website on the Participant’s domain;

Additionally, following services are included in the case that the Participant signed up for one of the Online Store hosting options:

  • Installing and configuring WooCommerce plugin;
  • Adding up to 5 product categories;
  • Adding up to 16 products;
  • Adding shopping cart functionality;
  • Adding an order summary subpage;
  • Adding a payment gateway compatible with WooCommerce (e.g. Stripe, PayPal);
  • Store responsivenes

1.4. The specified limits represent the capacity available under the student’s free work contribution. The WordPress platform supports additional content, products, pages, and plugins. If the Participant wishes to request further development or add more content, such additional services may be offered during or after the website development process, subject to mutual agreement and additional fees agreed upon with the Contractor.

1.5. Any additional plugin, development, or design fees that may arise during the project must be clearly communicated to the Participant in advance. No extra charges shall be requested without the prior written approval of both Parties.

2. Free Web Design and Development Service Process

2.1. Before starting the website development process, the Contractor will provide a form containing the required information. If the form is submitted with missing or incorrect information, the Contractor reserves the right to request that the form be corrected by the Participant.

2.2. The website will be created within 30 working days based on the information form completed by the Participant

2.3. The Contractor will inform the participant about the creation of the website by e-mail, sending a link to the website for the Participant to review.

2.4. The Participant is entitled to one (1) round of revisions at no additional cost.

2.5. The Ordering Party has 7 working days to collect its comments and corrections regarding the created website and send them in one file to the e-mail address of its project manager. The list of corrections and comments cannot include adding new content to the page. If the above list is not sent, the project is considered accepted.

2.5. The Contractor will implement changes on the website within 15 business days.

2.6. The website will be developed based on the preferences indicated in the form. However, the Participant understands that web design is a creative process, and an exact match to their stylistic expectations cannot be guaranteed. The Participant is encouraged to maintain regular communication with the assigned Project Manager to help ensure the final outcome aligns as closely as possible with their vision. For matters related to dissatisfaction or requesting a second version, the Participant should refer to Clause 4.7 of this Agreement.

3. Website Usage and Legal Rights

3.1. The Contractor will not at any time or in any manner, either directly or indirectly, use for the personal benefit of the Contractor, disclose or communicate in any manner any information that is proprietary to the Participant. The Contractor will protect such information and treat it as strictly confidential. This provision shall continue being effective after the termination of this Agreement.

3.2. All copyright and usage rights of the completed website belong unconditionally to the Participant.

3.3. The Participant is solely responsible for the copyright and legal compliance of all content placed on the website.

3.4. Full administrative control of the website is granted to the Participant. After the project is completed, the Contractor may not access or modify the website without the Participant’s explicit consent.

3.5. Upon completion of the design, the Participant will be provided with login credentials and full access to the website’s admin panel.

3.6. The Contractor will provide the Participant with training materials for using the WordPress website.

3.7. As long as the domain and hosting services are maintained through the Contractor, the Contractor remains responsible for technical maintenance and support. The Participant may also request support directly through the hosting platform.

3.8. The Participant has the right to change the hosting provider and keep the website design after the website has been completed.

4. Obligations of the Participant

4.1. The Participant agrees to cooperate fully with the Contractor to facilitate the creation of a high-quality website.

4.2. The Participant undertakes to purchase and maintain a hosting plan offered by the Contractor, available at: https://wacademy.io/website-or-online-store/

4.3. The Participant agrees to submit all website content through the designated information form, which will be provided by the Contractor promptly upon confirmation of hosting payment.

4.4. Upon completion of the website, the Participant agrees to provide a review or testimonial regarding the collaboration on the Contractor’s designated feedback platform.

5. Obligations of the Contractor

5.1. The Contractor shall send the Ordering Party access data and instructions for using the website after placing it on the appropriate domain.

5.2. The Contractor will place the finished website on the appropriate domain and, if necessary and possible, redirect the existing domain to the appropriate name servers.

5.3. The Contractor, at the request of the Ordering Party, will set up email boxes in the domain assigned to the implementation of the website project. The creation of the email boxes is free of charge.

5.4. The Contractor undertakes to maintain full confidentiality. All information provided to the Contractor by the Ordering Party necessary for the performance of this contract is considered confidential and the Contractor shall not disclose it to any third parties or entities.

5.5. The Contractor undertakes to perform the contract even if a given round of internships/practices comes to an end. The Contractor will then transfer the implementation of the website to interns/students from the next round or, if this is impossible, will perform it at its own expense.

6. Right of withdrawal and Satisfaction Guarantee

6.1. Per the European directive 2011/83 he/she the Ordering Party has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract. Information about withdrawal from the contract should be sent by e-mail or letter.

6.2. The Contractor provides a satisfaction guarantee for the performance of the contract under the following conditions.

6.2.1. If the Ordering Party is not satisfied with the initial version of the website, WAcademy will prepare a second version of the website within 7 business days.

6.2.2. The Ordering Party is required to notify their Project Manager of their dissatisfaction via email in five (5) business days, after receiving the final version of the website. The Ordering Party must include the justification of dissatisfaction in their email. If the guarantee period lapses without communication, the project is considered as accepted.

7. Final Provisions

7.1. In all matters not regulated in this agreement, the EU directives, Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Electronic Commerce Regulations on copyright and related rights shall apply.

7.2. Any disputes resulting from the implementation of the provisions of this agreement shall be resolved by the District Court competent for the Contractor’s registered office.

7.3. The Parties declare by their signatures that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted all provisions of this Agreement.

7.4. Upon signing this document, a copy bearing the signatures of both Parties will be sent to the Participant’s email address.
